Prayers for my mom

My mom has been in an assisted living facility since July and was recently diagnosed with moderate dementia. Prayers for me and my two sisters who are her caregivers. Help with the guidance and understanding of this disease and also the financial support we will need to be able to keep her where she is.

For my 94 year old mother and father

Please pray for my 94 year old parents. My mother has late stage dementia. My father has begun to show signs of worsening dementia. In my mother’s confused dementia mind, she has said things that my father has accepted as fact. We have explained to him many times that it is not true, but he doesn’t understand and acts out. After trying to keep them together for years, we must separate them now. They have been married for 74 years. It is so sad to see such a loving couple of 74 years have to end their lives apart from each other. I pray for their peace, wisdom for myself and siblings as we make these difficult decisions, and God’s mercy.

Prayers for my mother – Patsy

Please pray for my mother - she has dementia & has been in assisted living for 4 months - some days her confusion is really bad - please pray for her to be at peace. Pray for me as her guardian to make good care decisions for her.

Prayer for my mother living with early dementia

Please help me pray for my mother living with early-stage dementia, for myself, and my brother who are caring for her. Praying for the right direction to support my mother mentally, and physically & long-term financial aid to sustain in caring for her. Praying for the right helper in time to come to assist my mother. Prayer request for my Grand-mother, Grand-father and all the caregivers and nurses.

My grandparents took my sister and me in once our mom passed away from cancer. I have been forever grateful for my grandparents and I do whatever I can for them, but I need help. This is like losing a mom for the second time for my sister and me. We have all been having a tough time coping, understanding, and having patience with her. I ask that others please help me in praying for my grandfather losing his wife after 54 years of marriage, praying for my grandmother's health, praying to help us have the patience and understanding, and praying for the nurses and caregivers who put themselves aside to help others and so that they have patience and energy to offer care. I know we are not the only ones going through this and I will keep everyone in my prayers. I really appreciate and am grateful for anyone who can pray for us or who pray for patients with dementia and their caregivers. Thank you.
