My father began his ministry at the tender age of 9 years old, singing on the national radio broadcast "Children's Bible Hour". He spent more than 70 years in full-time Christian ministry, traveling across the nation and around the world "Singing For Jesus." Dementia spiraled during the COVID lockdowns. My parents have prayed together every morning for more than half a decade. One morning, dad did not remember what prayer is. Every experience of his past has vanished. He does not remember his children, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren. My mom, his beloved wife, is his caregiver. It is her prayer that he can remain in their home for the rest of his life.
