Today, February 11, 2019, marks the 27th World Day of the Sick, is a day of praying for those who are ill, their care partners, and volunteers & professionals caring for them. The day also coincides with the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. The observance was started by St. John Paul II in 1992, having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s the year before.
Whenever you may be reading this, please pause and say an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be for each of the four groups being remembered today.
